What strategy should I use when in Fire Lands to gather more?

As a general guide the most effective strategy is to go into Fire Lands with a mindset, let this be your 1 and only goal. After all the aim of this even is to gather the most fossils.

Try

  • Gathering on level 2 tiles or higher (towards outer edges of map),
  • Send about 10,000 cavalry to gather on tiles,
  • Use dragon and main march to clear occupied tiles, then send 10,000 cavalry to replace it.

Avoid

  • Attacking every stronghold and tile in sight, this isn’t last man standing.
  • Don’t gather closer to the centre of the map.
  • As a general rule if you try to attack someone be prepare for them to make your life a real hell if they end up being more powerful. Some of these players just enjoy the satisfaction of ruining another player’s game.
